About Us:
We're a tech company focused on process improvement, automation, and user-centered design for the public sector. We're looking for a creative and highly skilled Website Designer to take our online presence to the next level by offering a fresh and modern look to our main website and user-facing pages on our software.
Position Summary:
As our Website Designer, you'll work closely with our marketing and development teams to redesign our website and enhance the user experience on our software's public-facing pages. This role will involve designing eye-catching layouts, color schemes, headers, and buttons. You should have a strong command of Bootstrap, as you'll be using it to bring design consistency, scalability, and responsiveness across our digital platforms. In this fast-paced environment, you'll be expected to deliver high-quality designs and revisions on a tight timeline, with key deliverables due within the next 6 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Redesign and improve the look and feel of our website, creating a cohesive and engaging user experience.
- Implement consistent color schemes, headers, buttons, and other design elements for optimal usability and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with our team to enhance user-facing pages within our software, ensuring they align visually and functionally with our main website.
- Conduct user research and apply feedback to create a design that resonates with our target audience.
- Ensure responsive and mobile-friendly design using Bootstrap.
- Maintain brand integrity while introducing fresh, modern visual elements.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in website design and UI/UX.
- Experience using Figma and other tools to design/wireframe.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience with color schemes, header and button design, and overall layout.
- Experience in redesigning websites and user interfaces for software products.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a knack for creating visually appealing and user-centric designs.
- Ability to work independently, manage your time, and communicate effectively with remote teams.
- Experience with user experience (UX) research and design.
- Knowledge of current web design trends and best practices.
Please include a link to your portfolio!
** We're specifically seeking a UX/UI designer, not a developer, and would prefer to see Figma-style mockups and prototypes that provide a clear, actionable pathway to execution. **
