Job Description:
Proficiency in Programming Languages: Strong skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
API Testing Tools: Experience with tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured for testing REST APIs.
Automation Frameworks: Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit for creating and managing test cases.
Understanding of RESTful Architecture: In-depth understanding of RESTful principles, methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), and status codes.
Event-Driven Architecture: Familiarity with event-driven processing and messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SNS/SQS.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for integrating automated tests into the deployment pipeline.
Version Control Systems: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for managing code repositories.
Database Knowledge: Understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ability to validate data integrity and perform back-end testing.
Performance Testing: Skills in performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling to ensure API and event processing performance under load.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, along with the ability to understand complex systems and workflows.
