Job Summary

 

The Mold Technician performs preventative maintenance on machine molds.

Job Responsibilities

• Cleans molds
• Lubricates molds as directed
• Performs a minimum of 6 month and annual PM’s on all injection molds, establishes procedures and maintains written documents, logs, etc.
• Assists on occasion with mold changes
• Operates heavy equipment and overhead cranes
• Makes minor repairs to molds as directed
• Maintains a mold inventory list electronically
• Maintains, installs, repairs manufacturing and assembly equipment
• Maintains building and grounds
• Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
• Basic Computer work
• Keeps work areas clean and organized
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Machinist or Tool and Die Certificate from a Community College preferred
• At least 3years of Tool and Die experience preferred
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Forklift training and certification will be provided by OES as necessary
• Lockout/Tag out authorized training provided by OES
• Hot work training provided by OES
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
