TES staffing is hiring for a leading provider of high-quality flooring solutions, specializing in epoxy coatings for commercial and industrial clients. Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Epoxy Floor Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing, applying, and finishing epoxy coatings, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality. As an Epoxy Floor Specialist, you will work on various projects, from small to large-scale commercial and industrial applications.

• Located in Rochester, NY
• Pay: Starting at $20/hr + Based on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for epoxy application by cleaning, grinding, shot blasting, and repairing cracks or imperfections.
• Mix and apply epoxy coatings, ensuring even distribution and smooth finishes according to project specifications.
• Create custom designs, patterns, and color schemes using epoxy products and techniques to meet client preferences.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations, making adjustments as necessary.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns.
• Maintain and clean tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition for each project.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and contractors to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in epoxy flooring or a related field.
• Proficiency in surface preparation, epoxy mixing, and application techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality finishes.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and any relevant certifications are preferred.
