This position will have remote and hybrid workplace options available but will be required to report to the listed address for the first 30 days of employment and 2 days per week in office or community thereafter.

The salary for this position is:
$23.97 - $35.05 Hourly
$1,917.23 - $2,804.29 Biweekly
$4,154.00 - $6,075.97 Monthly
$49,848.00 - $72,911.64 Annually  

The Colorado Rural Workforce Consortium exists to ensure every Colorado business has access to a skilled workforce and every Coloradan has access to meaningful employment, resulting in statewide economic vitality. This is accomplished by planning, budgeting and implementing the programs funded under the Workforce Investment Act (WIOA), Wagner-Peyser, Trade Adjustment Act (TAA), and grants in the Colorado Rural Workforce Consortium (CRWC). It provides employment services including labor exchange; and referral of applicants to job openings and placement assistance and addresses employability barriers, delivers quality customer -service to program participants, businesses, and the community. The unit fosters partnerships with educational institutions and other community organizations to provide a network of support services to ensure Colorado has a qualified and relevant workforce.

To foster business-focused workforce partnerships, effectively preparing rural Coloradans for the jobs of today and tomorrow by delivering a comprehensive array of employment and training services. Works with job-seeking customers to enhance their employability and achieve their employment goal, and provides customer service to program
participants, business, and the community. In addition, this position exists to provide career counseling, identifies and assists program participants in eliminating barriers to employment and/or post-secondary education. Position interprets federal regulations and state program guidance, policies, and procedures. Has fiduciary responsibility for participant expenditures under WIOA, TAA, and grant programs.

  • Performing duties similar to those assigned to the position as a classified State of Colorado employee.
