Position Summary We're looking for a Social Media Coordinator because we have an exciting opportunity with one of our largest and most prestigious client accounts. We are seeking a candidate with a passion for social media content, exceptional writing skills, and a strong focus on customer service.
What You’ll Do - Write and create engaging social media content tailored to various platforms and audiences.
- Manage and post content across multiple social media channels, ensuring consistency and timely delivery.
- Design customer graphics using Canva and upload them to Hootsuite for scheduling and distribution.
- Proofread social media content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Participate in client calls as needed, providing input on social media strategy and content planning.
- Use creativity and market knowledge to determine the most effective content types, themes, and visuals to drive engagement.
- Contribute to the development of social media strategies, offering insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
- Proactively pitch content ideas and concepts to clients, helping to shape their social media presence and messaging.
What You Bring - 1-3 years of copywriting experience, with a focus on social media content
- Strong understanding of the local social media landscape, with the ability to enhance content through online research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to a dynamic, cross-team role
- Highly organized, with strong time-management skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Canva and Hootsuite is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish is a bonus

How We Work This role is a hybrid position based in Purchase, NY, Rochester, NY or Chicago, IL offices. Fully remote work is not available for this position.

Salary at DAC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected total compensation range for this position is starting at $45,000 to $55,000 . The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DAC’s total compensation package for employees.
