Job Overview

As a Senior Analyst , you will join the digital team at HUB called to VIU by HUB to help build the leading digital brokerage of the future through expert advice and new features delivered in a delightful experience that is fast and seamless - whenever, wherever and however the customer chooses. Your data acumen and curiosity will be leveraged to help consumers just like you experience what the future of an insurance relationship with customers should be. You will join a team that is always striving to offer a fresh perspective for insurance consumers and their diverse lives through new analytics and a new flexible platform.

You will leverage deep analytics and customer insights to unlock new revenue and efficiencies. You will manage cross-functional relationships and reporting for multiple stakeholders, from Tech, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Executive level data needs. You will translate business questions into appropriate analytical projects that will inform strategic and tactical business decisions and be able to conduct analysis to communicate insights quickly. Ultimately, your passion for analytics will allow you to become a future analytics leader.

Job Requirements

• Self-driven to understand the business meaning behind data from multiple systems and possesses the creativity to uncover new insights
• Excellent report writing ability to translate complex concepts and findings into easily understandable narratives and can present and influence stakeholders
• Excel power user
• 3+ years of experience as a Power BI power user creating data models, transforming raw data, creating dashboards, and troubleshooting and optimizing existing BI dashboards.
• 3+ years data mining large data sets via cluster, regression, and machine learning models
• 2+ years of experience with SQL and Python. SQL – exploration, joining tables, validating results. Python – translating complex analyses into code (pandas), visualizations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data lake and Azure functions and triggers

Working Conditions

100% work from home with travel 3-4 times a year for team meetings and conferences.

Department Information Technology

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Up to 25%

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
