The Team You’ll Work With …


As the Project Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our dynamic Installation team, collaborating closely with talented professionals to ensure the smooth execution of our projects. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of project activities, coordinating between various stakeholders, and supporting the continuous professional development of our team members. You’ll dive into project plans, specifications, and drawings to grasp the full scope of work, playing a vital role in the success of our installations. Reporting directly to the Director of Installation, this role is based in our San Francisco office, where our culture thrives on professional growth, ongoing training, and endless opportunities for advancement. This non-exempt position offers a competitive pay rate of $25-30/hr plus bonus, generous benefits (see fireclaybenefits.com) and ownership opportunities. This is a hybrid role split between our SF Showroom and remote.

  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all project activities, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders, detailing project progress, expenditures, and key developments.
  • Archive project documentation meticulously for future reference and audit purposes, contributing to our culture of continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and productive work environment, fostering teamwork, accountability, and a shared commitment to excellence.

About You …

  • You are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for excellence and a knack for problem-solving. Your ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications will be critical in understanding the scope of work for each project. You’re not just an organizer; you’re a proactive contributor who can anticipate challenges and devise solutions before they arise. Your analytical and mathematical skills will be essential in accurately estimating material quantities, calculating labor costs, and preparing detailed cost proposals for our clients. Your effective communication skills will ensure smooth interactions with team members, suppliers, and clients alike. Balancing multiple projects simultaneously is second nature to you, and your drive for continuous improvement inspires those around you.
  • You have a BA with a focus on construction or project management with experience in the field
  • You have used a comprehensive suite of software systems that fit this role. We currently use BuilderTrend, Salesforce, Asana, Slack, Google Apps and more.
