Job Description

Position: Project Coordinator

location: Remote

Duration: 3+ months contract with the right to hire



Project Coordinator
Responsible for coordinating the scheduling of network installations, informing customers of project timelines and expectations, and ensuring seamless communication between all parties involved. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, technical knowledge in the networking space, and excellent customer service abilities.



Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling and Coordination:
Coordinate and schedule network installations, upgrades, and maintenance with customers and internal teams.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
Customer Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding scheduling and project updates.
Inform customers of what to expect during installations, including timelines, potential disruptions, and required preparations.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.



Technical Support:
Work closely with the technical team to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
Ensure that all technical aspects of the installation are clearly communicated to customers.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, communication logs, and progress reports.
Prepare and distribute regular status reports to customers and internal stakeholders.
Document and track any changes to project scope, schedules, or requirements.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including technical support, sales, and customer service, to ensure successful project execution.
Facilitate meetings and conference calls with customers and internal teams to discuss project details and resolve issues.
Support the Project Manager in various administrative tasks and project-related activities.



Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the networking or IT industry.
Experience with scheduling and coordinating technical installations or similar projects.



Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).



Soft Skills:
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus.



Interview Process: Technical interview with ePlus.. 2 Video interviews w/ customer.
