Job Title: Valet Parking Attendant
Job Type: Full-Time

Duties:

• Greet patients, visitors, and staff while providing courteous and professional valet parking services.
• Park and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System (VANIHCS).
• Issue valet claim tickets, secure keys, and manage orderly vehicle placement in designated parking areas.
• Assist disabled individuals and those with mobility needs by handling wheelchairs, walkers, and other equipment.
• Maintain a clean valet area, ensuring all equipment and booths are organized and presentable.
• Enforce a strict NO TIPPING policy, as indicated by facility signage.
• Report vehicle damage, incidents, or safety concerns.
• Ensure that vehicle wait times do not exceed 10 minutes for parking or retrieval.
• Participate in monthly meetings to discuss valet operations and service improvements.

Requirements:

• Valid Indiana Driver’s License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in valet services, parking operations, or customer service.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
