We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction to K-12 students across Maryland. Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver interactive virtual lessons tailored to meet the unique needs and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals of each student.
Collaborate closely with families, school staff, and other support teams to create an integrated approach for improving student outcomes.
Regularly track and document student progress, ensuring alignment with state and district standards for special education.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and communication with students, parents, and team members.

Position Details:

Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Duration: Immediate start through May 2024
Caseload: A mix of K-12 students with a variety of needs and challenges
Work Environment: Remote, flexible hours for a healthy work-life balance

Qualifications:

Valid Maryland Special Education teaching certification
At least two years of experience in special education, working with students across K-12 levels
Familiarity with remote teaching tools and virtual learning platforms
Experience with service documentation, ensuring compliance with state and district requirements
