**Job Description:**
We are excited to welcome an organized and efficient Meetings and Events Specialist to our team in Bloomington, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of corporate events, meetings, and conferences in remote, hybrid, and in-person formats. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with exceptional customer service skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Employee meetings and events
- Franchisee meetings and trainings (both domestic and international)
- Corporate team and department meetings
- Other assigned meetings
As a Meetings and Events Specialist, you will also support:
- Franchisee conventions
- Supplier conferences
- Events registration system
- Council reporting and approvals
- Other tasks as assigned
**Meetings and Events Planning:**
- Collaborate with business partners to determine event requirements.
- Source and secure event locations.
- Manage contracts, including negotiation and review with the Director of Meetings, Events & Travel and legal team.
- Coordinate room layouts and setups.
- Arrange lodging, transportation, food and beverage services, and audio-visual needs.
- Create and manage registration sites; generate and distribute registration reports.
- Prepare event materials such as signs, agendas, handouts, name tags, and directions.
- Conduct pre-event room setups and audits.
- Reconcile event expenses.
- Gather feedback on event satisfaction from business partners, venues, and attendees.
- Assist with post-event reconciliation to verify accuracy of charges.
- Provide onsite support as needed.
**Relationship Management:**
- Cultivate positive relationships with business partners.
- Communicate timelines and deadlines clearly.
**Expense Reports and Invoice Processing:**
- Manage expense reports for meetings, events, and travel.
- Process invoices for the meetings, events, and travel team.
- Review franchisee and supplier expense reports to ensure compliance with travel policies.
**Qualifications:**
- Two to three years of experience in meetings and events planning.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on Hospitality/Events Management, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with web-based registration tools (e.g., Cvent, Stova).
- Demonstrated attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and time management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working effectively with business partners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within deadlines.
- Adaptability to changing circumstances and work under pressure.
- Experience in a corporate, matrix organization is required.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% for assigned programs (local and national).
**Compensation:**
The US national base salary range for this position is $56,117- $65,937. The base salary range reflects the targeted hiring range for positions across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, work location, and relevant education or experience.

**Work Environment:**
Most positions at our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN, follow a hybrid work schedule with two collaboration days per week. Additional in-office time may be required to support team/project needs. Some positions may be identified as "remote eligible" for candidates outside a drivable distance to our Bloomington office.
