Internship Opportunity: Marketing

Position Purpose

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in various marketing activities and contribute to the planning and execution of marketing strategies. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the field of marketing.

Essential Duties

Content Creation :

• Assist in creating content for social media, blogs, websites, and other marketing materials.
• Support the development of visual content such as graphics, videos, and presentations.

Social Media Management :

• Assist with updating the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends and engagement opportunities.

Market Research :

• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and consumer needs.
• Assist in analyzing data and preparing reports to support marketing strategies.
• Become familiar with the credit union's products and services.

Campaign & Product Support :

• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure smooth campaign operations.
• Assist with other marketing projects as needed.

Administrative Support :

• Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including event planning, supply requests and delivery of marketing materials.
• Assist in tracking and reporting the performance of marketing initiatives.

Education/Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, communications, or a related field.
• Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.

Skills/Abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proactive and eager to learn.
