Ron Rice Painting Company, an established, progressive and growing residential and commercial painting contractor in San Diego, California and the surrounding areas is now accepting applications for a focused, organized, and driven individual to join our team as a Residential Estimator (70% of the job) with some Project Management responsiblity. (30% of the job)

ABOUT THE JOB - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales/Estimating (70% of your time)
This will include:
Building rapport by asking excellent questions and listening while caring about every prospect you see. We value people above the sale.
Light pre-qualify your leads to make sure they are a good fit for RRPC.
Creating trust and value through excellent customer service.
Provide profitable, accurate, detailed, and timely proposals and work orders.
Provide excellent follow up with every customer throughout the sales process.
Dedicate 10% of your time on business development and networking.
Achieve a 40% close ratio and $1,000,000 annually after training period.
Project Management (30% of your time)
Daily Operational Tasks
Deliver an exceptional customer experience through effective project planning and execution including daily schedule management, field and customer communication, and other logistics required.
Liaison between the customer and the technician
Handle any client complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
Supervise projects internally understanding and monitoring scopes, change orders, efficiency, and budget to actual KPI’s.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with customers and/or employees.
Monitor and improve operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction, and profit.
Ensure that all safety regulations and protocols are strictly adhered to.
Team Hiring and Management:
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of employees.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and mentorship to team members.

REQUIREMENTS:
Project management or operations experience of a $750K+ company required.
Sales/Estimating experience in a $750K+ company required.
Experience in the construction or the home improvement industry preferred.
Previous experience overseeing projects - timelines, resources needed, scheduling, etc.
We are a tech driven company…Cloud-based software, familiarity with and willingness to learn new technologies and applications.
Proven history at producing measurable results.
Ability to pass a background check.
DISC Assessment.
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday Typical hours are 7-5 depending on the season
In our location
COMPENSATION:
$75,000-$85,000 including base and incentives obtainable in 1st year.
$100,000+projected in the second year.
