The Educational Leadership Unit in the Department of Counseling, Educational Leadership and Higher Education at Central Michigan University is now accepting applications for a nine-month full-time, Michigan-based, remote, fixed-term faculty position, effective August 2025. While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside in Michigan and hold Michigan Administrator Certification. The initial appointment is for two years, with the potential for renewal based upon demonstrated abilities and department needs.
We seek a fixed-term faculty member who will teach synchronous and asynchronous courses in our CAEP accredited online programs. The successful candidate will have a strong PK12 professional identity, graduate teaching experience or demonstrated ability to do so, and school administrator experience. Supplemental summer teaching opportunities may be available.The successful candidate will be committed to the academic success of all our students and to an environment that acknowledges, encourages, respects, and celebrates diversity and differences.
