We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Health Information Management to join our team. In this critical role, you will oversee all aspects of health information management operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.

What you'll do:

Lead and manage a team of health information professionals.
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to health information management.
Oversee coding operations, including inpatient, outpatient, and professional coding.
Monitor and improve coding accuracy and reimbursement.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
Conduct quality audits and implement corrective action plans.
Analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide leadership and guidance to the organization on health information management best practices.
What you bring:

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field.
RHIA/RHIT and CCS/CPC certifications.
10+ years of experience in health information management, including leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of coding guidelines, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
