Amazon is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to fill a Data Center Materials Specialist (DCMS), Inventory Project Manager position at our IT Warehouse in Seattle. This IT Warehouse supports employees and IT Offices throughout the Seattle area and across the U.S., providing either direct asset replenishment or procedural support.
You’ll join a diverse team of associates, supply chain specialists, program managers, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across IT Services to help us deliver the highest standards for IT Logistics, ensuring that our customers have the equipment they need to perform their jobs. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
A Project Manager drives projects and programs forward from inception to implementation, and supports ongoing programs as needed. They are ultimately responsible for project oversight and coordination across teams both internal and external. This individual will be expected to learn and fundamentally understand the various teams and functions within the organization, and especially the systems used by and developed for our team. The individual will be expected to identify areas for improvement as well as act on data provided from individuals and teams. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to design, develop and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges. This role requires both independent contribution as well as the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. The scope of projects will cross functions within operations, tech, safety, and more. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience managing projects or programs in IT, Operations, or Logistics environments
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
