Your Role

The Air Export Gateway Agent ensures the timely and cost-effective movement of air export freight, as managed by the Air Export Gateway department under the guidance of the Supervisor and/or Manager. This role involves processing master airway bills (MAWB) consolidations and establishing trade lanes, covering all aspects of the actual time of arrival (ATA) process. The ideal candidate will have operational experience in the airfreight industry, including but not limited to warehousing, airline, ground handling agents, and freight forwarder Air Export Gateway operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and on-going commitment to quality and data integrity
• Interact and collaborate closely with the air export departments in the region
• Arrange bookings with carriers; optimize cargo consolidations
• Ensure timely processing and delivery to the airport, constant communication with the warehouse team and truck dispatch during the consolidation process
• Track & trace shipments; monitor vendor performance; address and resolve service irregularities
• Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal customers
• Maintain compliance standards at all times, including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations and customer requirements
• Report to Area Air Logistics Gateway & Procurement Manager

Your Skills and Experiences

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of gateway operations
• 1+ years of customer service experience
